FAQ

Roll Crusher Replacement Roll Skin Process

Roller crusher roll skin replacement needs to pay attention to the following key matters to ensure operational safety and normal operation of the equipment:

1. Safety Preparation and Power Disconnection Measures

Cut off the power supply

Before replacement, the power supply of the crusher must be cut off, and if necessary, the main power supply must be disconnected, and the warning sign of ‘Maintenance’ must be hung in a conspicuous position. Unloading and cleaning

Before operation, it is necessary to depressurise the equipment, clean the pumice at the head of the belt, and dismantle the protective cover and cover plate, so as to avoid interference with the operation by residual materials.

2.Disassembly and Installation Specifications

Old roller skin treatment

If it is difficult to remove the old roll skins from the roll crusher, cut them with gas welding and clean the surface of the unit thoroughly to ensure that no residue interferes with the installation of the new roll skins.

3. Operation and commissioning process

Lifting and commanding

When lifting the roller skin, it needs to be commanded by a person, strictly follow the lifting procedure and avoid collision or tilting.

No-load test

After the replacement is completed, the machine should be run without load for a period of time to confirm that there is no abnormal vibration or noise before feeding operation.

4. Maintenance and Adjustment Suggestions

Wear monitoring

Regularly check the wear level of the roller skin, if the surface is dented, cracked or the thickness is lower than the standard value (usually specified by the manufacturer), it needs to be replaced in time. Roller adjustment

After replacement, the roller parallelism should be adjusted to avoid uneven wear due to skewing; if necessary, the roller can be moved along the axial direction (the moving distance is about 1/3 of the feed grain diameter) to extend the service life.

5. Other Precautions

Lubrication management: check the lubrication status of bearings after replacement; the sliding bearings should be injected with thin oil regularly and the rolling bearings should be lubricated with thick oil. Material control: Ensure that the feed material is uniform and the particle size is not more than 150mm, to avoid oversized material to aggravate the wear of roller skin.
Through the above steps, the safety of roller skin replacement and equipment operation efficiency can be effectively guaranteed. It is recommended to refer to the equipment manual and adjust the operation details with the actual working conditions.
