Conventional sand making processes rely on high-speed impact crushing, which tends to damage the aggregate crystal structure, resulting in high flat and elongated particle content and difficult-to-control fines production. When processing high-hardness stone, blow bars and hammers wear out quickly, and frequent downtime for parts replacement directly reduces effective production line operating time. Certain sticky materials and weathered rock also tend to cause chamber clogging, further disrupting continuous production. Many operators have tried various equipment combinations but struggle to balance product quality and production costs.

Roll sand maker structure details
The Huashengming roll sand maker employs a low-speed compression crushing principle, distinct from impact-based sand making. Two wear-resistant rolls rotate in opposite directions, using compression to achieve controlled crushing of stone. This effectively limits over-crushing, producing sand and aggregates with a higher proportion of cubic-shaped particles and uniform, well-formed particle shapes. The hydraulic roll gap adjustment mechanism allows flexible control of finished particle size, stably producing manufactured sand and crushed stone that meets concrete and road base specifications.

Patented roll shell
The equipment incorporates multiple structural optimizations for sand making applications. The roll shells are made of high-chromium manganese steel with rare metal additives, centrifugally cast for superior wear resistance. Low-speed operation generates less vibration, and overall energy consumption is lower than traditional impact sand makers. It offers stronger adaptability to mixed dry and wet materials, reducing clogging risks. The machine can be configured as a standalone secondary and tertiary crushing and sand making unit, or combined with jaw crushers and vibrating screens to form closed-circuit production lines. It adapts to both new aggregate plant construction and existing line retrofits, flexibly meeting project requirements ranging from tens to hundreds of tons per hour.
